No horse boxes will be allowed onto the
Showfield before 7.30am
Due to limited parking facilities all Horse Box drivers are
obliged to co-operate with the parking stewards. The Show reserves the right to
refuse entry to those who do not co-operate. Shire Horse box parking in reserved
area.
All exhibitors should have Public Liability Insurance. If any horse / pony’s
health raises cause for concern the show Vet will be asked to examine the animal
and their decision will be final.
Judging will begin at 8.30 a.m
The timetable in the schedule is approximate and although the
organisers will make every effort to maintain the timetable the Committee
reserve the right to make alterations as it sees fit. The committee reserves the
right to limit class sizes if necessary.
HARD HATS THAT CONFORM TO CURRENT B.S.I. STANDARDS MUST BE
WORN BY ALL RIDERS WITHIN THE SHOWGROUND WHEN MOUNTED.

Coloured Horse & Pony |
| This Show is affiliated to the Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK).
Both the owner and the rider / exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS
(UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete, but in
order to qualify they must both be members and the horse / pony must be
registered with the society before this show for the qualification to be
valid (except NPS/BSPS qualifiers where Membership and registration if
not already in place must be made within 14 days of qualification for
qualification to be valid. Membership & qualification cards must be carried in the ring (the
latter being signed by the judge). For full rulings and information on

Shetlands |
Classes are confined to registered ponies. Ponies must be named on
the entry form. Society rosettes will only be given to ponies registered
with the society or eligible for registration (i.e.foals).
Three year old fillies with foals may not be shown. All foals must be a
minimum of 3 weeks old on the day of the show.
Children under 14 years old may not show colts (excluding foals) or
entire males in In-hand Classes.
Children under 12 years old may not show entire males in ridden classes.
Hard hats must be worn by all exhibitors, irrespective of age , in
Ridden Classes. |

The Shire Horse Society offer a Silver Spoon and a
Rosette for the Best Mare or Filly. The winner of the Special Prize must
be a member of the Shire Horse Society. Entries cannot be accepted at
Affiliated Shows in classes for Shires or Heavy Horses from any person who
has been either suspended or removed from membership of the Shire Horse
Society or has been excluded from exhibiting for prizes at Shows, Sales or
exhibitions or from taking part in any show organised by the Shire Horse
Society. No animal to be eligible to take more than one Silver Spoon during
any one year. The Royal and Shire Horse Society being excepted. The winning
animal must be registered or eligible for registration in the Stud Book or
Grade B Register. The judge has the right to with-hold the award of the
Silver Spoon and Rosette if an exhibit does not show sufficient merit. The
Council reserve the right in offering Spoons to award them only to persons
approved by the Shire Horse Society.
